Preschool/Pre-K - Lesson 4: The Shepherds Shout (December 26th, 2021)

Big Idea: I can tell everyone that Jesus is born.

Bible Basis: Luke 2:8-20

Key Verse: “You will find (put hands over eyes like you’re searching) a baby wrapped in strips of cloth (pretend to rock a baby) and lying in a manger (lay baby down).” Luke 2:12 (extend hands like you’re holding a book).

OPENING PRAYER

Lord, open now my heart to hear, And through your Word to me draw near. Let me your Word ever pure retain; Let me your child and heir remain. All this I ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.

BIBLE LESSON VIDEO

ASK THESE QUESTIONS:

  1. When the shepherds saw the angel, they were very afraid. How would you have felt if you were the shepherds? Why would you have felt that way?

  2. How does this story make you feel about Jesus? Why?

(We have a number of additional learning activities that you can do with your child(ren). However, due to copyright restrictions, they are available only to those who have registered for Our Savior’s Kids. To register your child(ren), click the button below)
