Preschool/Pre-K - Lesson 3: Jesus and the Sad Woman (February 20th, 2022)

Big Idea: Jesus loves me no matter what.

Bible Basis: Luke 7:36-50

Key Verse: “But here is how God (point up with both hands) has shown his love (hug yourself) for us (point to self with both thumbs). While we were still sinners (press knuckles together), Christ died for us (spread arms out like a cross).” Romans 5:8 (extend hands like you’re holding a book).

OPENING PRAYER

Lord, open now my heart to hear, And through your Word to me draw near. Let me your Word ever pure retain; Let me your child and heir remain. All this I ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.

BIBLE LESSON VIDEO

ASK THESE QUESTIONS:

  1. Why do you think the sinful woman cried when she saw Jesus?

  2. Do you think you could do something so bad that Jesus would stop loving you? (Answer: No. There is nothing you could do to make Jesus stop loving you. Jesus loves you no matter what.)

(We have a number of additional learning activities that you can do with your child(ren). However, due to copyright restrictions, they are available only to those who have registered for Our Savior’s Kids. To register your child(ren), click the button below)
