October 11, 2020 - Parent's Lesson 2

PRESCHOOL

3 QUESTIONS:

  1. When threatened by a large-scale attack, what would most kings do? By contrast, what did Jehoshaphat do?

  2. Take a close look at Jehoshaphat’s prayer, taking note of its various parts. Think about how you can include those parts in your prayers. (Verse 6; Verses 7-9; Verses 10,11; Verse 12)

  3. Imagine yourself as part of an army going out to face a much larger army. Imagine you are told you will not have to fight but simply to stand still and wait for some unexplained and undefined deliverance. What would go through your mind? In our age of possible nuclear attack at any time, what comfort can we take from how the Lord delivered Israel?
