3 QUESTIONS:
In their desire to gain wisdom, Adam and Eve lost sight of the fundamental truth about wisdom. Read Proverbs 1:7. What is real wisdom? How does this apply to your efforts to teach your child(ren) about Jesus?
In her answer to God, Eve says that the serpent “deceived” her. What had the devil promised her? What did her disobedience deliver? (Read 3:5-6, 16-19) How would you apply this to your life?
There were consequences to Adam and Eve’s sin, and there was a promise that the effects of the fall would one day be undone (Jesus!). We still bear the effects of the fall in our everyday life - our sinful nature, our acts of sin and disobedience, temptation, and the effects of sin and the ruination of God’s perfect world are all around us. How does God’s promise here in Genesis 3 still comfort you in your daily life? How does it encourage you as you teach your child(ren)?

Today, people tend to think of God as a gentle grandfather or a benign spiritual force. How do the stories in Exodus tell a different story? What application is there in this for your life?
God provided for his people regularly in the book of Exodus: a leader, a powerful deliverance from their slavery in Egypt and again at the Red Sea, and for their physical needs in the desert. List three different ways God providence comforts and encourages you for your life today.
