Easter 2018 postcard - front.jpg

God sent his Son to be the Savior of all people. Jesus died to win forgiveness for us, and on Easter he rose from the dead to make us right with God again. Because he lives, forgiveness, eternal life, and a right relationship with God are yours through faith! Please be our guest this Easter for uplifting worship, a message of hope, and the chance to marvel at the blessings that are ours...

Because He Lives!

Good Friday Worship Service (March 30) -  7:00 pm

Good Friday is the solemn celebration of the Lord’s suffering and death on the cross, but we do so with a triumphant note—for we know in his resurrection, Christ has conquered sin, death, and the devil. The Tenebræ (ten’ eh bray) service is an ancient rite of the Church. The Latin word “tenebræ” means “darkness.” During this service the candles will be extinguished and lights will be progressively dimmed. In this we remember that God the Father cloaked the land with darkness during the death of his Son (Matthew 27:45).This service is a time for prayerful meditation. There are moments of extended silence for meditation on the magnitude of Christ’s sacrificial love.
